Biography
After several years of practice as a lawyer, Ian Quick realized that if he were going to lie and fool everyone, he might as well be honest about it. He became a magician!
Over the years, Ian Quick has honed his magical skills to delight and amaze a vast array of audiences, from corporate functions, to festivals to intimate soirées. Ian Quick has also recently developed a new stage illusion show, “Quicker” Than the Eye, perfect for the whole family, or for fund-raising events.
Ian Quick is a founding member of Smith & Quick Inc., a comedy vaudeville magic troupe. Ian is also the co-author of the internationally acclaimed Highway to Success: The Entertainer’s Roadmap to Business which has been recognised by the magic industry as the definitive business guide to entertainment. Mr. Quick has also been a columnist for various international publications such as Magic Magazine and Magicseen.
Beyond magic, Ian Quick is also an up-and-coming actor touching every media possible, from the theatre, to television and film, and even web-series. Mr. Quick has starred in such features as Hell At My Heels, Rockland and My Fair Zombie, as well as playing Xorn, one of the lead roles in the highly successful Spellfury web series.
